hpde dates

well the time of hpde dates has arrived. at the moment i only have Team Continental and c.s.c.c. dates.
The TC dates are Friday March 7, Friday May 16, Saturday June 28, and Wednesday 30th of july.

The cscc days are as follows Friday March 15, Friday April 25, Friday June 6, Friday 15 Augest, Friday september 12.

and for those who want to get out there sooner or just want a couple of laps. FOPIR is holding the reopening of the track Febuary 23 thats a saturday and there will be a track walk in the morning followed by prodrive lead, follow the leader the rest of the day. 10$ donation gets you 3 laps in your own car following the prodrive drivers as they drive the new line.
P.S. i almost for got PCA oregon chapter is holding the first track day febuary 24 the sunday after the FOPIR event. and ive already sighed up for that one he he he.

both TC and CSCC now have the dates up on there respective sites with registration

ill be there as an instuctor as long as they say ok i have to miss the instructor meeting ? no promeses yet but im asking for every weekday TC and CSCC hpde day off to instruct. yay free track time.

I just dropped my registration in the mail for the March 15th event.

Now I better find some new tires, since my Pirellis are nearly bald. I'm thinking of getting a set of Bridgestone RE-01R's. Good enough for an HPDE, but good for daily driving as well.

And I suppose I should make sure my Ferodo DS2500's have enough life in them to survive a track day .

The March 15th date seems good for starters. I just filled out my app and will send in tomorrow. The 23rd sounds good for a little teaser too. I may just bring the E38 to that one. Got room for 4!

just got the email back from cscc i am on there list of instructors. and the current driving master for TC approved me last year himself so i should be good there too.

helmets required?
will there be some sort of tech inspection?

it does not look like you need a helmet or a tech inspection since its not going to be anywhere close to full speed but they might ask for helmets i do not know, i would bring it just in case. this is how it looks so far,

you sighed up for the hpde part and not the school right? if you sighen up for the school part it will probly be harder to do a ride and let go. ill send some emails and see if i can get you as one of my students or as the ride along safety
