what do you need a permit for? selling it?

In our state its ok to have a bottle in the trunk (cannot be hooked up to a line though) on the street. IIRC you dont need a permit until you haul a few hundy lbs+.

gotta love new jersey....pretty much everything is illegal or you need some kind of permit to do it.

NJ law states:
24:6G-1. Control or possession without written permit; prohibition; exceptions
It shall be unlawful for any person or persons, except a duly licensed physician, dentist, veterinarian, nurse, hospital, sanitarium or other medical institution, or a resident physician or intern of a hospital, sanitarium or other medical institution, to have under control or possess nitrous oxide in any form unless the person obtains a written permit issued by the Department of Health; except that no person under 19 years of age shall have under his control or possess nitrous oxide .

prokiller: you should be be fine as long as long as you dont get pulled over and its out in the open, otherwise they'll nail you for it.

guero: I think its $50 to be able to take a **** but thats only between the times of 3-5pm. lol

They do know that you cannot "take" industrial nitrous as it has sulf. added...it is added as an agent to keep one from taking it. IIRC the sulf. bonds to the lungs better the oxyg. and you sufficate...

It also does not blow up in a tYt3 nawwwssss boom boom like the mentaly retarted movies...only even more mentaly retarded lawmakers would a) think "holywood" is "real life" b) do absolutely no research on the issue c) stand up and then say they put and end to the sensless horrible street racing problem by doing this...while "real" crime issues are simply put aside and further spun to attack yet again the WRONG part of the problem.

I think its funny...sadly I do.

disclaimer***in no way am I making fun of retarded people...just those that are not tech. retarted...just there actions/statements/ideas are.

disclaimer 2***guess I should say mentaly handicap...but then actualy I feel that any realtion to the mentaly handicaped people is a misjustice to those people as the "retarded" referance is about people that should know better.

its the typical new jersey logic....or lack thereof. thats the problem with this state. they don't research anything they just BAN it or make it a pain in the ass to do.

most jersey laws are ridiculous...for instance its illegal to sleep while your driving...so for you people driving through new jersey and thought you'd catch a quick nap while driving don't even think about it! lol .

Duh! Who came up with that one! Oh I get it when a driver falls asleep at the wheel, drives off the road and has accident NJ Cops get to hand him an extra fine just for $hits & Giggles. On top of wrecking his or her car and maybe hurting someone else. Nice very nice.

It's a simple hack's attempt at generating revenue for the state by requiring a "permit" to obtain an item that the state has nothing at all to do with.

the speed shop that was across the street from my job had the paper work to fill out but of course right before i get my nitrous system the guy drops dead of a heart attack. so it's been sitting collecting dust.

thanks

Is that annually? Even still it's not too bad I guess. Considering the permit to rob a gas station is $100 (or 20 boxes of donuts) a year.

The permit is for every 2 years or at least mine is...The thing that sucks now is that I have the line ran and everything hooked up but I have to fix up purge since the lines got ripped off from the pressure and I also have a few leaks between some of the fittings....So with school and stuff it should be done sometime next week since I will be out then and have a lot more time....

I got the purge working today...it looks pretty cool since it is only at half pressure since I have a leak due to an improper fitting...I would have a video but I just took apart all the fittings and tightened them and now I am waiting for my other fitting.

So as soon as i get it in ill post up a video
