I would keep my eye out for listings on eBay and in classified sections to see if anything pops up. The cops will likely not do anything so you need to pay close attention yourself. There are only soo many stroker 408s and pony down turbo kits in one area. Hopefully the thief is a retard...most are. he will slip up eventually.

your the police now bro!

Sorry to here that, my 99 Banshee was stolen from the back of my truck, in the middle of town at that , the city cops wouldn't finger print or anything, so I had my brother who is in the process of becoming a county cop for the sherriffs dep't get one of his buddies to finger print for me, they only found partials though, my wheeler was stolen the day before thanksgiving last year, no news on it yet but I am still looking, I'm just waiting for someone to pop up with some of my parts on theirs, if or when that happens I will prolly go to jail for assault, but atleast I will get my **** back. I don't really miss the banshee that much because it can be replaced, it just pisses me off to know that who ever stole it will or has ragged the **** out of it, or blew it up and ditched it somewhere, the other part that suckes is that I just finished building it about 2 or 3 weeks earlier, didn't even get to break it in yet but all I can say is **** happens and what goes around comes around.

TV crime dramas have just about ruined real police work. Everybody expects the kind of miraculous results they see on "C.S.I. Miami".

The best thing to help find your stuff, and perhaps the dirtbag(s) who took it, is to give the police a detailed list of what was taken. The police always recommend engraving your SSN (or some other personal ID) on expensive items, and/or keeping a list of serial numbers in a safe location. The police are most likely going to stumble on the crook by stopping him for blowing a stop sign, in a car that has a trunk full of your tools. It would be good to have a positive way of identifying them.

If I were you, I'd keep an eye on eBay. You might see your stuff pop up on there. If the seller happens to be in your area, that would be a clue.

The only thing that really pissed me off was the welder. My dad and I bought that about 5 years ago when we built derby cars. Thats the only thing that meant a damn to me and now it's gone. I hope the pos that stole it plugs the welder in to use it and it burns his house down.

The only reason the CSI guys solve cases is because TV always has stupid criminals and miraculous luck.

Sorry for your loss man! I hope you find those dirtbags and get your parts back. If you come across them, get a cattle prode and zapppppppp their ass's until the batteries go dead. That will teach em not to do it again!

Thanks guys. I just hope that I get to the db before the police do. I just want to knock him out, pull his pants down and stick a broom handle in his a**, that way he knows what little b**ches get in prison. I was'nt really mad at first, but now it's starting to eat at me.

The only thing that sucks is your talking about two different things. The microchip that is in your dog and cats only works if the animal is turned in and scanned, it then gives the vet information on where the animal came from. The gps in your car sends constant signals every so often to satellites which let you know where it is at any time. Microchip=10-20 bucks gps=100+ $$$.

On the other hand that really sucks man... More than likely its someone you know or who knows you because its sounds like they knew what they were going to look for... Good luck
