I put my window defrost on and...

it seems to be fogging it up on the outside

(guessing your defroster is set on cold not heat) Cold glass on the inside + warm moist air on the outside = fogging (condensation).

wtf? What part of Canada are you from? Its so damn hot here... no need for a defroster any time soon

Arguments aside, that is rather strange, I am at a loss. Seems you are breaking the laws of thermodynamics! Don't let the cops see that

Edit: Never mind, it makes sense now, for some reason I was thinking the rear window defroster...

hhmm not sure i agree with that. If the heater core were leaking, the fogging would happen on the inside. I'd have to somewhat agree with the cold-air-hitting-window-inside-hot-and-humid-outside-so-condensation argument, but I've never seen this happen myself.

Probably does not happen that often in Canada . Happens all the time down here in Florida (mostly in the early morning before the day heats up).

I would say that it means that your a/c ROCKS!!!!! Mine does it(the condensation thing), too, when the sun isn't on the windshield.
