do you mean the convertible top on the 03 cobra is different than the others? i never noticed that ... btw the link in your sig takes me to a "page not found" error.

cobra has a really dark black top and the gt's are really faded looking

yeah the 03 cobra is a waaay better quality looking picee,, i think its kinda like velvet..

i can't imagine why it wouldn't fit. they didn't change the length or width of the cabin for the 03 cobra, did they?

I don't think they changed anything . It has bugged the hell out of me that the gt top looks so much worse
than the cobra's. I think this is the 1st disscussion about this problem

I never noticed it either. I just use ragtopp protectant and it make it look jet black and repel water.

the 03 cobra top is different and i am sure you could salvage one from a yard or something like that if you want it cheap... otherwise - ford will have it

Keep in mind that if you change your GT top to a Cobra top, you will also have to change the rear glass window. The rear glass window is attach to vinyl material that our GT's use. The cobra I believe has cotton.
