I checked the vin# on the door and the one on the left fender and they do not match exactly on my 66 Mustang. Are they supposed to? The on on the door is 6F07T295101 and the one on the left fender is 6F07T205101. My title does match the one on the door though.
Sometimes the stamp does not do a great job and your 0 may indeed be a 9 as pointed out above. Yes the T indicates a 200 CI 6. U would be for a 170 (1964-1/2 only).
