Ok fellas, I need some advice. I have a 00 Gt. When I step on the pedal and rev up to 3k or so the rpm will not maintain, will drop by 200-300rpm even though my foot hasn't moved. Any ideas?

There are lot's of things that can cause that. The primary 3 would be a significant vacuum leak, bad TPS(throttle position) sensor, or a dirty or malfunctioning MAF sensor.

I would first start by checking for vacuum leaks.
