I think it's a great deal as long as ther isn't anything wrong with the car. I would go and drive it and see. Make sure the transmission shifts good and make sure the valves aren't ticking in the heads. The 4vs have had that problem and if they are it will need a head or heads. I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong on that. Also what color is it.

Also is it a 5 speed or an auto? The 5 speed cars have forged cranks and the auto's have cast.

In the past few months their have been quite afew Mach's for sale that are great deals. This guys reason for selling is different, but quite afew other Mach owners are bailing out because of the economy and gas. The tick problem or synchro problems have probably been addressed if they were any problem.

I must agree with you on that end. The economy is really bad and gas is very expensive. Not really a good time to sell or buy a v8 if you ask me

Yea thats a good deal,as others have said in the last few months Machs are coming down in price....gas prices.I paid $16,800 for mine in April with 40k on the clock.Im getting around 25mpg on the hwy and I have gotten 18mpg city with no wot's.It rides much better than the GT did.But some things do cost a lil more on them.1.it says you are suppose to use Premium Gas only,I was using mid grade gas with no issues before I found this out.The machs do not like low grade....runs like ****.2.The pcv valve is $30.3.They take 6.5qts of oil.There are a few other things like that but I cant remember them right now.Thats all I have learned from it so far.I dunno if the gas would be an issue for you but its something to consider with current gas prices.

I wish I was buying a Mach last year tho,the guy up the street from me sold his comp orange 03 mach with 7,500 miles on it for $17k,he used that cash to buy the orange saleen boss 302,the Parnelli Jones one.Now he wishes it had the Mach.Now he is upset cause it just turned over 1k miles....lol.
