The problem I have here is the general lack of information. Is the problem with the key lock cylinder or the electrical ignition switch? Some minimum amount of detail would help us to help you.
If this is about a bad ignition switch it can be replaced by the DIY'er. Replacing the ignition switch does not require re-programming of PATS.
