How do i remove the ignition switch out of my 66 mustang? i searched the other threads and they said put a paperclip in the hole and turn the key to the left. I tried that and they key snapped. I got the snapped key out but i still dont know how to get my ignition switch out... any help would be much appreciated.

thanks!

Insert the key and turn it to the Acc. position and then use the paperclip.

Do you just need the tumbler out, or the whole switch? The little chrome bezel ring is what holds the entire thing in the dash.
