Here is my situation. I recently purchased a Spintech side exhaust kit that I had installed on my 03 GT last Friday. For the first couple of days (Friday and Saturday) my car sounded awesome!!! I was turning heads everywhere I went. Well I did not move the car at all on Sunday nor on Monday. This morning when I got ready to go to work I noticed that the car was no where near as loud as it was previously. It sounds just like it did with my stock mufflers!!!! Does anyone know whats going on? Has anyone ever encountered this problem before??? And its not just in my head because the people who heard my car when I first got the system put in say the same thing now, that its not as loud. Can anyone help???

Ok assuming that you and your freinds haven't gotten used to the sound.
Check and make sure no-one "helped" modify your exhuast. Look for anything that may have been placed inside the side exits.

actually you can get use to the sound quickly. i remeber when i had taken off my X-pipe for the Stock H-pipe yeah it was quieter and i ran it for months. Then when i switch back to my X-pipe i was like Whoa this is loud then after 2-3 days of driving around i got use to it and seemed quiet wired

I think you just got use to it too. A lot of people on here say my sar must be loud but i don't think its that loud at all. Why? Because i have gotten used to hearing it.

well if thats true how can I go about making it louder? The Spintech mufflers are the only things that I have done to my car thus far, everything else is 100% stock gt.

off road x-pipe ...headers....those things would make it louder. There is no scientific reason why your exhaust would have gotten quieter in 3 days, so its got to be your hearing thats changed. Just admit it, you've got the bug and can't stop modding, welcome to the club

I think I'v heard in the past that spintech internal baffle plate sometimes comes off(due to sub-par welding), and plate actually close the outlet pipe.
