Inner Door Window Guide Felt Pad..

Hey everyone, im looking to replace my worn down/greased inner door felt pads that guide the window upward, but i dont know what they are called and i cant find them online. they are damaging my tint... can someone please direct me where to go to find replacements? or how to restore the pads? thanks!

Are you talking about the inner belt strip along the top of the door panel?

I don't believe there are any aftermarket replacements for what you are talking about. My understanding was that you can try to restore them yourself with some felt from a store, or cannibalize some that are available from another car.

Unlike the F-bodies, it hasn't been a major common Fox-body problem yet.

cdubin, they are located inside the door, and helps guide the window up.. 91twighlightgt,, i was hoping that there was a replacement item for that part.

Aaahhhhhh, gotcha. Haven't ever seen those for sale on nay of the restoration websites.

Can you just recover them with some heavy duty felt?

yea i was hoping there was a replacement for them.. but, ill just cover them up with some regular felt.
