Installed the Triax Shifter today

All I can say is what a difference !!!

The shifts are precise and the smaller throws are great.

yup its great! im retarded though and i still have a problem with my 3rd gear.. i want to think its further away than what it is now!

Yeah I will have to re-learn the shifting process..

Cool. I think I am going to go with the Triax or the Mgw

I got the MGW and it is AWESOME. Very simple to install. I'd say you cant go wrong with either shifter though.

agreed.. theres a bunch of different brands out there and i love my steeda (except for 3rd gear) but getting a short throw in general is one of the best mods

Easy tip to re-learn 3rd gear: Just shove straight up

That's pretty much all I do in racing is use the heel of my hand and go straight up. It'll find the gear.

yah I got tri ax as well , it feels good now that i got used to it. Sometimes its kinda hard to shift in reverse though thats the only problem i got . other then that i was born for manuals

i have the same problem , sometimes in wont hook to reverse until i shift 1st then try again, or push it hard down reverse
