What roller rockers you using?

I just put a socket on a ratchet and tightened it down with that...I had no slipping problems at all...it was right there...nothing in the way...

I used a hex headed socket to tighten down the locking adjusting nut...

the hex head of the lock nut shouldnt go down far enough where the socket will hit the roller rocker. are you using regular nuts on there??

17mm? That's HUGE compared to any nut size I've seen associated with roller rockers for these engines. Oh, and they've all been US standard sizes, not metric. Not that that helps any - but at least you know how to spell felcrom now.

For installation you put the rocker over the stud, then install the pivot ball (round portion down, against the rocker) then install the nut.

A standard socket should fit with no issues, I use a 3/8" drive with no problems. You could try a 1/4" drive they are generally smaller. Most are 9/16"-5/8" sockets.

So you are building a 331 Blown/Stroker motor with Edelbrock heads and Victor intake and you bought $69.00 rockers? Why would you not get something more popular like a full roller rocker?
