im putting in a autometer tach tomorrow and is there any precautions that i should know about? and can i put the red wire the goes to the igniton switch somewhere else? thanks for the input

red-12v power..and yes, anywhere/anything that turns on with the key..ive hear dof people running to the fuse box and pinching it behind a fuse (one that goes on with ignition) ive heard and seen it works good but i dunno, i guess thats just not my style of doing things
Black-ground
White- illumination (ac/heater controls)
Green- Neg side of coil
