My 99 has recently been misfiring. While trying to find the problem today I found coolant in the number six spark plug hole. Obviously my intake is cracked. After searching the forums for this problem I noticed a lot of talk about a recall on the intake. Does anybody know what the story is about this recall? And if I would be covered? Also, I'm worried about coolant that might have gotten into the engine. How would I know if this has happend? Thanks!

PM me your vin, I am a ford tech and I can access the Ford technical website from home..I will run it on oasis and see if you still have the recall active for your car.

Even if he qualifies 90% of the dealers out there will say "Sorry, your CAI voided the warranty."

svttech, I will pm you my vin once I get home. I really appreciate it! I actually still have the stock intake, so before going to the dealer I will throw that back on so that there won't be any trouble with the cai.
