I was strangely motivated this afternoon so I went out and bought some interior detailing supplies since I don't remember what happened to all my old stuff. Anyway, I gave the Cobra a real nice treatment, and even removed the center console inside liner so I could remove the coin tray and fog switch to clean out the edges real good (washed the coin tray while I was at it since it had some gunk at the bottom).

The black thing behind the driver seat is the distributor cover. The floor mats have seen better days, so I have some new ones on order from LRS, and I'm going to retire the factory mats. I may look into getting them embroidered so that they look like factory Cobra mats. I also put some meguiars leather conditioner on the seats and shifter boot. The seats in this car are still immaculate with no cracks or tears.

Fog lamp switch and coin tray. Attention to detail!

I removed the factory AM/FM cassette since I'll be getting a CD player very soon. I just removed the lower pocket in case I need the extra wiggle room when I install it.

All in all, I'm still very impressed with how clean this car's interior is after 100,000 miles.

It is quite nice! Usually the leather on the seats is split by now. Nice job! The previous owners really took care of it for those first 100,000 miles.

my driver seat has like 2-3 tears in it. Has less than 90k too.

Thanks! It was a two-owner/one-family car. Garage kept its entire life, and practically bone stock when I purchased it. First owner (father-in-law) never touched it, and the second owner (son-in-law) only put a JLT, Tri-Ax, and some Flowmaster wannabe mufflers on it. The leather on the driver seat is a bit worn from use, but it's no where near torn. The passenger and rear seat look practically brand new. My only gripe with the interior is the strange sticky gunk in some spots on the carpet. Most of it is around and under the seats. The power seat track barely works and needs to be replaced, so I'll take the opportunity to remove both seats and clean real good underneath them when that time comes. I just wish seat tracks weren't so expensive! LRS just raised the price on a new one from about $359 to something like $425 for a brand new Ford part.

Find some yards local to you with some gt's....and go try to locate some seats that had power.

I did the same as ^^
How often do you need to move the seat anyhow.

IF you have the seats out, you could consider tossing some new carpet in anyhow. I want to convert mine to black (though with your Brit beer interior being so stock, that could look funny).

It just depends on who owned it before you did, I guess. The previous owners of mine really took care of it. My '02 was purchased brand new by my Dad, and the interior in that car is immaculate as well. Doesn't look like it has 107k.
