I have a 1998Gt and the cooling fan works on some days and then the next it does not. Then it works again.
AC compressor works, but when the fan stops working and the car is stopped at a light the air is warm until the car moves again.
fuses are all good, temp. sensor was changed about 2 months ago.
Is it possible for the CCRM relay to stick and then work again?
I did not want to spend $190 to find out there is some other problem.
anyone have a sim. problem?

I suppose you've already checked the wiring to the fan, the wiring harness, and the fan itself for damage?

I only did a quick look at all connector ends. I will do a harness check.
I did have some work by a shop (TB/filter in the fender).
Maybe something was damaged.
Thanks

This may sound silly, but did you check/replace your thermostat? Maybe it's always open.

thermo is about 2 months old. engine temp. rises when fan does not work.
the ac works poorly when car is stopped because no air is pulled thru the condenser.
I also did a visual check to see if the fan is running when the engine was hot and then turned on the ac-no fan.
I will do the wiring check and if I don't see any damage I will buy the CCRM.
the dam things been working fine now.

I finally looked at the wiring, It all looks good.
the car was only driven once in a week+ (fan working). I will change the CCRM
and hopefully I it will not happen again.
