I have a V2 SQ trim. A small bearing went bad. The bearing cage broke on one of the small bearings and is making lots of noise. I would ship it out to Vortech but i just dont have 400 for a rebuild if I can do this myself. Im somewhat mechanically inclinded and am not intimidated if this isnt to hard. Wanted to get your thoughts on if this is ok for me to do. Not sure why the bearing failed. Unit is 3 years old, was not overspun at all that is certain, oil flow thorugh is great. Only thing i can think is maybe i tightend belt to much or just a fluke.
