Is this all I need to fix my yellow headlights?

I was going to buy two of these to replace my yellow headlights...and get some replacement bulbs while I'm at it...will I need anything else to replace these...a seal? or anything...

well if your headlights are not cleanable, then i guess replacement is your best and last resort. i did not use any sealant when i replaced mine... do those come with the housing or are they just the lenses?

the only sealant you will need is silicone if any. thats what i used on my tailights i am sure its the same on the fronts so you don't get moisture inside

I would imagine the seal they speak of on the 5.0 Resto link is the air gap seal that goes around the headlight housing. If yours is in good shape you probably don't need it.

I already have the clear side markers and parking lights...its just (most likely because of heat?)...my headlamps are yellow...and it doesn't match well with the other clear lighting pieces...

Yeah I didn't mean sealant...but if I need any new seals or gasket type things to install these lens...I'm getting the OEM ones...

I just don't think it is needed to get this kit:

and instead just get the lens with new bulbs...how hard is it to replace...as in the adjustment?...how hard to adjust...and I can just reuse my other parts I'm assuming...I could save $60 bucks total just by not buying those plastic pieces that I could reuse...

I'd save the $60 and resuse your old stuff aslong as it's not all broken and junk.

You would want to use an adhesive or even silicone when installing the new lenses.

I can't tell exactly what I'm getting...but where will I need the silicone at?...I'm sure I'll see when I take the old ones off...if I can figure that out...

I know one of my lights is tilted towards the outside...is that just an adjustment problem?

Before you go buy new ones, what have you tried to clean them with? I've heard good things about Meguiar's Plastix. I've never used it but it's supposed to work like a charm on yellow headlights.

Well I tried to clean them a long time ago with Scrubbing Bubbles and I think 1500 grit sand paper and it didn't do enough to warrant not buying new ones...

I'm just wondering what I will need...or can I just replace those lenses as is?

I bought a 6 piece set with Ford Headlight lenses, and amber corners for $119.00 from CJponyparts.com... Don't forget to weather seal the corners, and parking lamps with some stuff.

BTW, what do you guys use to seal your headlights? Mine keep getting condensation inside and i'm sick of it, so I need to re-seal them. Can i use RTV sealant? Or do i need the clear silicone? And which part do you seal exactly?

Well I'm not going to clean these yellow headlights...I'm going to buy new ones...that are in the first post...I'm asking what I need or is it just plug and play...any silicone...new gaskets I need?

The link you posted above was the LENS ONLY, the clear lens without the housing (as i understand). You will need to remove the old lense and SILICONE or GLUE the new lens onto your exhisting housing, do you understand what i mean? The lenses don't just pop off and pop back on with clips or anything, they are glued on there.

If your buying the lens+housing (whole headlight) then you won't need to do this, but it's a good idea to put a bead of clear silicone around the headlight housing/lense mating area to keep them water tight.

Alright that makes sense...is their any tips on getting the old housing seperated from the yellow headlights...heating it up?...to put the new lense on...
