Hi,

I've removed both tie rods but noticed one side has visible grease and the other side has none.
Is this normal? Pics can explain better

It's typical. Whomever greased the rack went a bit overboard though.

Thank you for confirming. I noticed the stock inner tie rod didn't have the pins to pop out with a flat head. The new ones have them but i misplaced them.
The tie rod is torqued, matching the stock setup... thoughts on leaving it as is?

The pins aren’t needed. Fox racks had them but Ford did away with them for the SN95 and many aftermarket tie rods don’t have them. I never install them.

I do a little blue locktite and torque them down. Never had one loosen up and if it did, you’d notice the alignment being way off before it became an issue.
