Well, for all the people whining that the dealer down the road is charging premiums above sticker, I just placed an order for my dad for a new '05 GT Premium, fully loaded with the interior upgrade package and the red interior package, 5-speed, standard bullitt wheels, anti-theft, locking lugs. Didn't even bother with my local Dealer who's trying to b.s. people with MSRP + $2500 nonsense. Called my favorite dealer in N. Georgia, Jacky Jones, and over the phone nailed down a simple and standard Dealer Invoice + $500 bucks deal, $25,705 including dest/del. It took a phone call and five minutes. The car is on order, 6-8 weeks forecasted delivery. And when the car comes in, darnit, we'll have to drive up there and get it LOL!!! Again, if your local yokels are treating you like a moron, just let your fingers do the walking... Don't act like you're lawfully bound to deal locally.

Or one could just wait a few months and the dealerships will be making deals on them.

Yes, and the sooner everybody says "no" and takes their business elsewhere, the sooner that ALL dealerships will float back to planet earth...

What city is Jacky Jones in? I live North of Atlanta. Ordered my car from out of State over 9 weeks ago. Still no VIN so I may cancel and try another dealer. What is the name of the salesman you used? I would like to give him a call. Thanks for your help!
