Hi everyone, i am the very proud owner of a 2002 mineral gray 5 speed gt. it has 40,000 miles on it and i got it for 13,000. I am in love with this car .... it came with weld in flowmaster delta 40's so it sounds great with no drone on the highway. I can't beleive that there is a place like this where people share there love of there mustangs... this website is amazing... i've been reading the posts here for a while now, and i have learned so much about my car. Now i am going to start saving money fast, because there is so many things i want to do to the car, I can't wait. Now the fun really begins. Thank you Stangnet forums for such a great website.

just make sure you tell us what your purpose is with the car when you ask questions about performance mods.. ex. autoxing, dragging, little bit of both with daily driver.. etc...

Welcome to the website. Please feel free to ask us any questions that you have about your car. The 2002 Mustang GT is a very nice vehicle. It's fast and nimble. You will love the car. Please post some pictures on this forum so we can all see your car.

A couple words of advice on mods so you don't do it again.

1. Don't waste money on a cold air intake. Just get a k&n air filter and trim the air silencer
2. Don't buy a off-road x-pipe that fit your stock headers if you plan on getting long tubes
3. If your gonna go supercharged or Nitrous route. Get 3.73's. If your gonna stay all motor get 4.10's
4. Don't buy a intake spacer, don't buy a colder tmep thermostat.
5. If your gonna drag race the car on drag radials or slicks. Make sure you have the money to upgrade to 31 spline axles and 31 spline posi, cause your rear end will break

If you're a Mustang fan , it's gonna be tough to get bored with it !

There's so much you can do to customize it, engine parts, drive train , or body , etc.

It can be a money pit, but don't get me wrong it's a money pit for me because I want it to be !

Congrats on the new toy !

congrats and awsome color. I see that not only have you been bitten by the mod bug but also the stangnet bug. They are both very hard to get over and I am still looking for a cure to either of them.

I think Mineral Grey was only run for the '01 and '02 model year, in 03 they dropped it for DSG I believe.
