I bought a used Bassani catted-X from another Stangnetter, and had a shop install it since it looked like a PITA. I was very impressed with the quality and fit of the Bassani X-pipe. For example, the X-pipe has threaded mounts for BOTH pairs of O2 sensors. No pesky mil-eliminators needed! The car hasn't thrown a code and it has a mean, exotic car sound. There is a slight increase in power in the mid-upper rpm range and the torque curve is much smoother. BTW, I felt no loss of low-end torque with this X-pipe, if anything it is now better. Although I prefer the throaty, muscle-car sound, this X-pipe is hard to beat. Bassani definitely does their homework!
