Hows it going everyone, I've been on the forum for a while but never logged in to the account I had for a long time. I figured now is a good place to start seeing as I just picked up my winter/spring project car two weeks ago.

Its a 92 lx 5.0 5spd. The car was pretty rough when I first got it but for $1900 you can't expect show room condition. The rear quarter panels under the trim were totally rotted out. since owning the car they have been cut out and the new pannels which I'm making from fiberglass will be in soon. The next issue was the hood which at one point for the previous owner flew open while driving. This caused a nice crease in the metal behind the hood and smashed the cowl vent grill. The paint is also terrible but that will be taken care of later this week when it goes from white to blaze blue.

My current project for the last two (going on three) days is the exhaust. I picked up some bbk shorties and off road h pipe and have had one hell of a time getting them in. The old studs on the factory collector was rusted to the point where the bolt had to be cut off. The foxbody owners know thats not a great location for a jig saw and metal cutting blade but I had no other option. That resulted in a broken middle finger and several busted knuckles. Today I spend another full day working and got the old stuff out and the new stuff in. I ran out of light so Ill have to finish tomorrow and hopefully I won't have any leaks.

I'm hoping by the end of this week to have the car pretty much done. I'll get new tires not this weekend but next. Going with 225 in the front and 245 or 255 in the rear.

this was the car the day we picked it up. I forgot to mention it had a terrible idle issue which was from bad vacuum lines, I also pulled the IAC and cleaned it. It runs great now.

This picture was after some body work on the fenders
