question? why didnt you get a regular 5.0 and do this. cali package is extra 0.o? and is this allll youre doing to the exterior? Sorry just a man that thinks it should stay the way it is or make it look like it was back in 68.

thats the beauty of automotive aftermarket. anyone can do anything they want, some ppl may not agree with it but others may enjoy it or find it appealing.

Exterior is done except for some light window tinting. And i have always bought a new vehicle and made it the way i like it. Look at the 2000 GT in my sig. it has every performance mod you could put on it and i feel like i didnt over do it. So why didnt i just buy a Cobra or Shelby you say? its cheaper to do it my way. I value you your opinion and i am not afraid of critiscism.

Not just buy a cobra or a shelby. Talking about making it look as if it came from the factory. The 1968 California Special.

Its not criticism. the cali special package is about 2k more for the package. you pay for the wheels stripe and the fact that its different from regular premiums. I love the way it looks just wondering why.

well i dont like copying whats already been done or cloning. I thought the shaker hood would give it an nostalgic look.

Love the shaker hoods on the 69/70 cars. Need to see one installed on a recent model in person before deciding I'd really want to add it. Looks great in pics and especially on black cars like yours! Really nice! Like the wheels too!

Only at speeds over 50 mph... it really loves the freeway now lol.. yes i did the install myself. Great intructions and if anyone needs any tips feel free to pm me. Cutting the hood with an jigsaw was very easy but the measuring is where you feel nervous. As for supercharging, i am researching that now. I would definately want to use the shaker with an power added.

thanks all and dont be afraid of doing this install yourself its really not hard at all.
