This site is to help and inform others right? So here is my tid bit for today. Bought another 100% stock Notch and could not stop myself from modding it. I really tried. So one of the many things I have done to it so far is smog pump delete. I did install APC underive pulleys, alt, w/p, and crank. The belt I used was purchased at NAPA, Micro-v 060837 which is translated to 84-1/4" belt. It fit perfectly with the range right in the middle of the stock belt tensioner. The Notch is an AOD, don't think that matters at all but theres that. Hope this can help someone else too.

Correction!! The 84-1/4" belt was a bit too tight. It worked it's way not in the "range " area. So I installed an 84-1/2"er and so far so good.

I'm betting you could've come up with enough play in your power steering bracket to make the first belt work, like i talked about in the link i posted.
