a huge number of people have been to carlisle, myself included and it is flat out massive. never been to knotts but i cant imagine it coming close to the sheer size of carlisle. the show field is huge and the swap meet side is just as big plus the cars for sale section and numerous indoor exhibits
Yeah, Carlsile is a great time. I have been 13 straight years. It has gotten bigger over the years. I was just trying to figure which show is bigger. You do not see much coverege of Carlisle in the magazines, but there are numerous articles covering Knotts every year. That got me thinking that maybe Knotts is the biggest in the country.
How big is "pretty freakin big"? How many cars? I know Carlisle covers 82 acres of cars, vendors, and specialty buildings. I have been to the MCA show in Charlotte, and Carlisle dwarfs that show.
