So what did you peep's do over labor day weekend?

I spent the last 5 days out of town, going from one ICU to another, at two separate hospitals, 45 miles apart, visiting a grandmother in terrible shape after her 5th stroke, and a 20 month old nephew who was just diagnosed with a brain tumor the size of a tennis ball. But after 10 hours of surgery, the lil' fella made it out ok.

But, I did see a Viper on the drive home last night.

That really sucks about your family members. I am really sorry to hear about your 20 year old nephew with the brain tumor, thats awfull

I spent the weekend in the Ft. Kent Maine area in my sister in laws house overlooking the canadian border.. it was a 10 hour drive each way but the ATV riding was bad ass. I live about 35 miles outside of boston and grew up less than a mile from the boston border so it was kind of stange up there to me but it was fun. Ohh and we crossed the border into edmunston, NB Canada to go to a dairy queen.. I had to find some reason to cross the border since I was pretty much on top of it...

Have I depressed everyone too much to share their good times over the weekend? As crazy as my weekend was, it still had some positive to it.

I went to my first Nascar race at California Speedway and Im not a Nascar fan at all (free tickets). It was about as exciting as it is on TV. No major crashes or anything to get excited over.

Lol no kidding i went to my first nascar race too at Cali speedway, the best part about it was we had these special tickets which got some courtesy tent provided by cingular and the food and drink was free... the food wasnt too great but i had a good 12 pack to myself before the race. Then when the race started i started dozing off.

Yeah not really amazingly exciting... but dayam there was a buttload of people there.

Never been to Nascar, but have done Indy car races and other track events. Only ones I actually enjoyed were classic track events with Cobra's and all other sorts of muscle cars racing. The others are just a snooze....lots of hot women usually though!

Doc, sorry to hear about your family problems... I'm glad your nephew is going to be fine though

My labor day weekend consisted of tearing down the top of my engine to regasket my intake and replace the waterpump nipple/outlet tube, installing cobra-style clear corners and headlamps banana, videogames, sleep and FOOD! mmm Not a bad weekend all in all, car fired up on the first try w/ no leaks but I'm still sore as hell from reaching into the engine bay for 8 hours straight

I went scuba diving on Saturday, and installed my Borla Stinger exhaust. other than that, just hung out with friends and relaxed.

I worked on my friends civic doing his suspension. that damn macpherson setup is a bitch. I'm almost glad we have a modified version with no coil over strut setup.

then I worked all day, slept in the next day and on monday I went for a drive around the island. our favorite hawaiian 50 pulled me over, and started to regulate LAPD style. 3 broken ribs, a snapped tibula and a concussion later, here I am!
