That looks like the $900 Brembo kit. Are those 13's or 14's?

I paid $890 for them and they are the 13 inchers. I only got the fronts. That was all the pocket book could handle for now.

Sweet! This may sound dumb .... but I don't know as much about brakes as most of you. So are those supposed to be better than Cobra's, Baer's, etc.? Didn't the '00 Cobra R come with those?

Also, did you get a new M/C & SS lines with that kit?

They have 4 pistons calipers whereas the Cobra and Baer kits have 2 pistons. They were original equipment for the 00 Cobra R. The kit does not come with a new master cylinder but it does have the SS lines and all the hardware, plus an extra set of brake pads.

First off, congrats, the look SCHWEET!!!!!!!!!!!

Second, how much better are the 4-piston than the Cobra 2 piston? Just wonderin' b/c those are double the price.

Cosmetically, the Cobras are just as nice, except they dont say "brembo" on them, so Im just curious as to how much better braking they provide. I know the Cobra's are a huge upgrade from our stock ones, so for most of us, would it be worth it to fork out the extra change for the Brembro's.

Send us some pics when theyre on!!!

I dont know how much better they will stop. I know the Brembo calipers are huge compared to the 2 piston PBRs (i.e. Cobra, Bullitt, 99+ Stangs). I just wanted to have something better than the 2 piston PBRs since almost all Mustangs have those now.
