We will have a blog up soon but here is the latest that got pushed out last night from C&D. Looks like their cover or something was leaked so they pushed out a blog to get ahead of the intel...

Noteables:

" And the engine will be the same size, 2.3 liters, as that car’s four-banger. It’ll generate 310 horsepower with direct injection"

"the company will continue to offer Ford’s “Trinity” supercharged 5.8-liter V-8 making 662 horses"

"The first is a twin-turbocharged V-8, code-named “Voodoo,”..... This EcoBoost V-8 will produce between 550 and 600 horses."

"The introduction of an independent rear suspension"

Personally I hate the new re-design as it sits now. It looks too much like an Aston Martin. The Independent Rear I am 50/50 on I don't really care for it, but it will make the car better. I do like Ford for keeping the 5.8L for now at least I am a little interested in seeing what Ford has in store for the GT500's replacement as well as the boss302. Rumor has it is the mach 1 is replacing the boss302.

YOU SHUT YOUR FILTHY MOUTH!

If the base mustang looks like that, still costs around 22, and doesn't top out at 113mph I'll sign that dotted line.

First of all, what a shame that the Mustang will look like some of the most beautiful cars on the road. Secondly, have you really looked at an Aston Martin lately? Because the new Mustang doesn't look all that much like an Aston Martin. Maybe a passing resemblance to the Vanquish, but really, there's only so many ways you can design a performance car. Would you rather it look like a Camaro? Or a Challenger? Jump on Aston's website and compare, they aren't that similar.

Every time a new Mustang comes out, and I've been on this site now for what will be 3 model changes, I read the same things. "It doesn't look like a Mustang." "It looks too much like [insert some other car here]" "It sucks because it's different." "It sucks because it's the same." "It's too retro." "It's too futuristic." "I"ll be passing on this one." "Ford should do [insert stupid idea here] instead" Blah blah blah. 6 months after the new Mustang hits the road, half the detractors have bought one and loved it and everyone moves on with their respective Mustang lives. The same will be true for this one.

Well put, erichmess_

Srsly tho, I like the "most realistic rendering" or whatever was recently posted on StangNet's homepage more but this is enough of a movement forward without dismissing the past, IMO.
That being said, if they really make a 2.3T like has been talked about for ~2 years now and really seems to be legit, I'll soon be selling my daughter to get one. She's 2, has had all her shots & is healthy as a horse. 99th percentile for height and 50th for weight, dirty blonde hair, blue eyes.
Asking price is the contingent upon the price of the car.

I like it a lot. Not enough to trade my '13, which is a good thing - that lets me wait a few years for them to refine the style and the new features some more. Not that I think the independent rear suspension will be as tricky as it was on my old TR6, but it's certainly introducing some new complexity to the platform.

Plus I doubt Ford will be handing out anywhere near $3,250 in cash back on these for a couple years (like they were on the '13s this summer!).

i would chose Amber Heard over Kate Upton. She's from texas, bisexual, movie star, love guns and classic muscle cars ( drives 68 mustang).
