I have had some hairy rides, ya gotta have fresh rubber or you are screwwed. I have driven it the last three winters in Michigan... Just think drifting without loosing rubber. Its me, I have to drive it ,its my identity , i keep my knives in it.

Why would you get wide tires for the rear in the snow? They just like to float around on top and get no traction. Get some skinny tires that dig through the snow.

You want skinny tires in the snow, NOT wide.

Wide snow tires? Doesn't that defeat the purpose?

Buy some 16" V6 wheels for the rear and put some 205's on there.

Actually I have some cable chains that fit over my 285s... I go through anything..its like a big mf snow machine. I have to take off my front under spoiler though or it fills the radiator compartment with snow. it is really bizarre seeein the Cobra throwin a 20 ft rooster tail of snow. oh ya babe.

I have no excuse, I have been like this all my life. I just like to experiment. They are not chains ,they are like a thin cable net that goes around the tire..if you put them on real tight with bungy straps you can go about 30 mph. Know I only do this in emergency situationns ,,like if we get hit while I am at work...but last year we got like a foot on my day off so my son and I put on the cables and hit some state land area roads..it was awsome. If I see a storm coming before going to work I take my wifes Focus...so I am not a totoal idiot...but more times than I would like to be.
