Hey guys i know its a question of trial and error with all drag cars, just looking for some ball park figures to start with.. Run doen: 89 Saleen with 347 SBF, D1 Procharger, 80lb injectors, 14lbs boost, Fuel syatem, 116 octane gas, pproper plugs, Vacuum Pump, etc. etc. Built motor Dart Block, Brodix heads, Buiult rear end, antiroll bar, 3:73 gears, 28*9 Slicks, skinnys and alot more, car dynoed 580 RWHP and 540 lbs Torque. Oh yeah open headers, car tuned on 116 and with Moates quater horse. Safe tune. It made peak HP at 5800/5900 rpm consistant, so my question is at what RPM would be a good launch and szhift points considering where i made most HP. It has a TH400 in it 3 speed. So looking for a good place to start launching at and seting shift points for the Shiftnoid to activate for the 2nd and 3rd shift points.
