leaking valve covers

hey all i have been putting 5-20 mobil 1 in my car and the valve covers leak any others have this problem

where on the valve covers does it leak?
what car?
any mods?

information is the key for answers

Nope. I use Mobil 1 5W-20 Synthetic and I also had my valve covers switched to blue valve covers and I've had no problem. Of course the Ford mechanic reminded me "You know this voids your warranty if these valve covers leak". The gaskets are some really odd looking gaskets. They look exactly like the coil cover gaskets.

nope no mods just the synthetic oil and i have heard that this kind of oil causes a leak also this is on a 2002 gt.

synth oil causeing a leak is a old mechanics tale. you have a leak becuase you have a leak, I don't care what oil you use.

fix the valve cover gaskets and continue to use synth.

ditto.
Way i understand it is that sometimes dino oil sluge can cover up the leak. And synthetic will clean that out cause it to leak. That does not mean it caused leak. Just that it made that was there to show up

Any problems with the car burning oil or seeming to be low on oil sometimes?

I thought maybe there was some better gaskets to get or something, no burning oil or anything. Thanks for the in put guys..
