I was driving down the highway,kind of into the stiff wind we were having,when the hood decided to take a vacation from the car. It flipped up and smashed the windsheild,detached itself and smacked into the back part of the roof,causing the back window to implode(with a loud bang). Now before someone says I should've had hood pins with any aftermarket hood,it was the factory latch that let go,not the hood itself so the same thing would've happened if the factory hood was in place. The weirdest thing is,the hood came off with such force that it ripped the factory hinges right off the car,still attached to the hood.
