Install the line lock after the ABS unit. Look for the line coming out that says "front". Cut line, install line lock, & light up those burnouts!

Some people say that you have to install the linelock through the ABS system to work properly and safely. It's not true. I installed mine (and many have done this also.) directly at the proportional valve, even if I have ABS system. Never had a braking problem since I installed this. Here's a pic of my install. Neverming the "ugly" bend in my line. I was in a rush to install it cause I was going to the track that day.

Stangfreak, does your ABS light ever come on? Mine comes on sometimes & then goes back off.

Well I'll tell you what I know and it's not much cause it's been 2 years since we installed this. Well first of all, either you buy an install kit from Summit for example, or either you go to your local partstore and buy a few things. You'll need a couple 3/16in brake lines and propably a few different fittings. If you look at my 1st pic, you can see the 2 "NEW SHINY" lines coming out of the linelock. You dont need longer than that.

This is the pic of the Hurst installation kit, from Summit's website, which says that these are all the fittings required for this task for a mustang. They dont say the sizes unfortunately.

At least you can see what they look like. Try to match the sizes with the ones on my #2 pic. THAT PIC IS THE HURST WITH THE 3 IN/OUT. Your installation will be a bit different. My 1st pic is exactly how it is suppose to turn out, assuming your unit has only 2 "holes". Here's a good document for the installation of the linelock. The Hurst has 3 "holes" in it. I believe yours has only 2, like most of the kits. Ignore the part where they're talking about the PLUG that needs to be inserted.

You will need to have a flaring tool also. If you look at the second pic I posted, you can see, depending on what in/out, BUBBLE or DOUBLE flare. You have to flare a few lines for each specific input/output.

I'm very sorry for not beeing more helpful. The instructions I gave you are pretty complete though. If there's a specific detail you wanna know, maybe I can help you more than telling you the whole procedure.

I would recommend installing it like StangFreak (before the prop. valve). Mine works fine (after the ABS), but like I mentioned I do have an intermittent ABS light since the install.

But damn I love that line lock!
