So i'm installing some long tube headers and after i got the passenger side all bolted up and tried to put the motor mount bracket back on it hits the headers. These are Boost Brothers headers (JBA copies basically). They fit great besides that. I did see one write up a guy did where he modified his motor mount bracket but chipping a grove into them (http://mustangforums.com/forum/2005-2011-mustangs/627925-boost-bro-lt-install-interesting.html). I just don't wanna do something that'll hurt me down the road. So what do you all think? I've jacked the engine up about 3 inches so I don't wanna jack it up even more to try and get this thing on there because when I lower it back down chances are it'll be rubbing against it. I've included a pic so you all can kinda see what I'm talking about.
Are there any aftermarket motor mount brackets that'll allow for more clearance?

I kinda remember putting the motor mount over the stud first and then bolting it to the block back when I did my kooks LT's.

If when it's all back together and the header is indeed contacting the motor mount, Dimple the header. Looks like a minor dimple will solve the issue. I've had to do it many a time.
