Hey guys, I decided to tackle my longtube header install, basicly everything started out great then anything that could've gone wrong did, misc. lil stuff like breaking a sparkplug off trying to get it out etc. I got everything bolted up fine, great fitment from flowtech, steering doesn't hit at all everything fits well...... or so i thought. Turns out the starter is hitting one of the tubes and I guess grounding it out. I unbolted the passenger side went to the store got header wrap and tested it with the headers loosely bolted in, it went to start, problem fixed, (again)....or so I thought. Once the h pipe was in and everything was bolted up it wouldn't start again. This is what I get for not buying replacement motor mounts to replace the broken once. (the engine is pretty much leaning down on the pass. side. So I just ordered the motor mounts to get the engine properly sitting but I still want to get a smaller starter for the longtubes, who makes an aftermarket starter that will be small enough to fit with longtubes and be able to withstand the high temperatures?

The stock FORD mini starter should work just fine, any parts stores carry them. Just ask for one for a 93 Mustang (assumed this was a Foxbody)

COME ON NOW PPL! the mustang is one of the most sought after cars to modify! everyone carries things for mustangs! They're prolly chevy guys.... w.e. back on topic.... Thanks Again guys i'll let you know what happens.

its just like Kraagens in this area. they only have chevy stuff fully in stock, atleast with the small misc. stuff. buying header bolts only coming package of 12 (needing 16), only chevy starter bolts, only chevy intake manifold bolts blah blah blah on and on.
