Look what I found in my oil pan.

Sweet huh? Been driving around with this in there for a year or so.

what is that?
(as i prepare for some know it all to bash me and say Well obviously it's your_____...)

but thats crazy, glad to hear it still drove okay and did no damage...that u know of now anyway

how was your oil pump working without that?!!?

I broke the motor down cause I needed the pistons for my rebuild ( see my progress thread)
Pulled the dizzy and the pump shaft came up with it... cool.

Then I dropped the pan and there was another one. Someone before me must have gotten lazy when it dropped in the pan.

oh and the bottom end is ****ed. Crank had massive endplay. Ill post some more pics in a few

Heres the thrust bearing. Left side of it is almost gone


and you can see the shiny spot behind the chain it how much this crank could move back and forth. Still ran though, and didnt make any bottom end noise. Built Ford tough I guess

I've seen people find wrenches and stuff in their engine. But that is crazy. I wonder if it got bent up AFTER it dropped in the pan from hitting stuff

Its probably the reason my bottom end is so jacked up. Either way the block and crank are junk
