With that combo posted in your avatar, I find it hard to beleive you blew your 8 do to too much power.... Why not rebuild your current 8? Anywho, check out ebay, or Currie enterprises for some good stuff.

Agreed about the power. I'd recommend going with a new currie rear. Otherwise: scavenge the salvage yards!

Tell me, is Wausau near Fond Du Lac, Waupun or (if you know where this is) Brandon? Maybe near Friesland? I have alot of family in Wisconsin and will be up there for a wedding in October (unless I'm in Afghanistan...but that's another story.) If you're near by I would like to stop by and see your ride!

I find it hard to believe that I blew out the 8" too...but it happened. I'm not pushing that much power! Had it checked out by a couple different people though and they all give me the same response. A 9" will be nice for the future mods I plan on doing. I'd rather build up the rear now while it's down. By the way...Wausau is in the middle of WI...just above Stevens Point.

Something was probably wrong with it to begin with, so who knows. I'd do the 9 if you have the cash and especially if you plan on putting more power into it.

I'm not to familiar with most of Wisconsin, I just know enought o know the area's I'm talking about are all near Lake Winnebago.

That's probably about 1 1/2 hrs from where I'm located. If you would like to stop by just PM me closer to that time.

Will do!

I wish I were going in August, since I know it's going to feel like the North Pole up there by October. Oh well...blame my cousin, she's the one who decided to get hitched in October.

Doesn't matter what broke. I found my 9" and it should be ready in a couple weeks. I'm not sure how serious the damage is but it's not driveable at this time.
