I want a new set of 18" rims but I am afraid of them letting go on me during extreme loads. I am going to be taking my car on some race tracks and I will be going very fast, 150+. I have started detailing my current AFS polished aluminum cobra r's 17x9+19x10.5's but i have noticed pourus holes on the inside lip of one of my front rims. There is a ring about an inch from the inside lip. I have taken my car to speeds over 160 but looking at the rim i was driving on i cant believe im still here. This looks like a weak spot and if a rim fails me at those speeds my car is toast and ill be messed up for sure.

Right now I am looking at the fake saleens on ebay and the Drift R's. I really would like to be able to rotate my tires so that I wont have to buy a new set every summer. Please help me, I want to know peoples opinions, suggestions, and reccomendations on where to buy. Above all else can I trust eBay sellers; should I purchase direct from the manufacturer or look at OEM products.

Thanks

hmm, if you're going 150+ i wouldn't skimp out on cheap rims + tires... afterall, that's what's actually touching the ground.

Yea if its that important, i would not go with ebay wheels. I'd go with a real dedicated racing wheel.
