How to remove foglights on my 01 GT. One of them has condensation inside and has busted the bulb. I want to take them off and put sealant around them so this won't happen again. Is there a "How to" article somewhere where someone shows how to take these off? Thanks in advance!
There are 3 torx screws that need to be removed, one under the bumper and two on top of the light. I think it is a T-20. Unscrew the three, remove the wiring harness and take it all out. I have a pair that I removed from my '02 GT if you want them. They are on eBay right now. Let me know if you'd like them!
I don't know for sure on your car, but on my car it had a cowl shake reduction 25 lb. weight just chillin there above the passenger foglight. It's only on convertibles I think, but if it's there, you're gonna have to take it off too. There are two bolts that hold it on either end, it is a PITA to get it off, and watch out that it doesn't knock you on the forehead when it comes down. It hurts like hell.
