My friend has magnaflow exhaust with an o/r h pipe and headers on his 95 cobra.He wants to make his exhaust louder.What else can he do to make his exhaust louder?
He could just wait for the mufflers to break in. I know when I first put my LTs and offroad x on (I already had a dynomax catback on the car for about a month), I was kind of dissapointed in the loudness of it, I wanted more. Now its perfect though, its waaaaay louder than when I first got it.
yeah, about 3 years ago i got my 2 chamber flows used. they were all rusted up and broken in very well. my completely stock car was louder with just my broken in mufflers than a 94 stang with a catted xpipe and some other mufflers. then i got my o/r hpipe....whew was that loud when i dumped those. but i loooooove my current setup, if i could just ever get all the connections to seal up
My MagnaFlows got louder after they broke in also. I got rid of mine b/c it was not loud enough and I had an O/R pipe on it as well. It is a nice distinctive low tone system and the SS design is bling bling. If he wants it louder he needs to change it out to something different thats what I had to do after 6 months of contemplating. I went with MAC which is loud and obnoxious and I couldn't be happier. He can go to my site to listen to some clips of what it sounds like with an O/R pipe.
Another vote for mac here. Its pretty loud. BUt i htink the cheaper way would be to buy a couple Magna packs, and bolt them in the black of the regular maganflow. Those are loud and sound really mean.
