I just gotta say it, Doug does great work! I ordered a JLT intake and SCT tuner from him. With his 91 race tune (we don't have 93 at the pumps here), I dropped 3 tenths in the 1/4 and picked up 5 mph. And that was on a 90+ degree day! Waiting for a cool evening to try again.

I gained 28 hp and 7 ft-lbs, both runs were on the same Mustang dyno. Next time I get to the dyno, I'll try the torque tune. Probably see a few less hp, but more torque.

Seat of the pants, all I can say is AYE CARUMBA! Passing is way fun now, and the dragstrip is pure grins the whole way. I love the way my auto barks the tires on the shifts now. I'm very glad I changed the LCA's and added Anti-squat brackets right before the tuner showed up. The front end barely even rises now, the car just digs and scoots. My 60 foot times still suck, so I definitely need more work on my launches.

Just to sweeten the deal, if I keep my foot out of it (I had to force myself, just to see), I am getting 2-3 more mpg. My 84 mile round trip commute is mostly highway, but includes a 2000 foot climb (of course it's 2000 foot downhill on the way home), and if I set the cruise control, and stick near the speed limits, I'm now getting average 28-29 mpg with the race tune loaded! I did notice the car hardly even hits 4th now, goes to 5th very quickly. I'm sure that's helping the mileage.

Lovin' it!

Yeah I love the way the auto trans works now after the tune! Next time I go to the track I will play around with the settings and see if and where I can pick up more speed.
