I am thinking about lowering the stang. I want to get Eibach pro-kit with either the Eibach shocks and struts or the Mach 1's. I was just wondering if anyone with the Eibachs has had a clearence problem getting an oil change. I have been very happy with the service I get at my local Ford dealer so I always take it there. They use lifts to put the car on and change the oil. I just want to make sure that it will still fit on the lift with no problems, like scraping anything or ripping off the chin spoiler. Back in my high school days I had a low rider truck and I always had to change the oil myself because it was too low for any oil change place. Not to mention when I had to get a tow once and it was so low the tow truck basically ripped the front bumper off of it pulling it onto the back of the tow truck! Thanks

We have Valvoline and Jiffey Lube oil change centers around here. Their bays have small lip thats only about 1 inch high so the car goes in fine. As for Shell, they had an oil change center and it has a big round bar about 6 inches in diameter, obiviously I would scrap I asked them to push the Stang in. Instead one of the flunkies tried to drive it in. I said what are you deaf "I said push it in", I said back my car NOW.... Since then I refuse to visit any Shell stations ever again. Nothing was damaged its just the principle..they were not careful with my car even when they new it would scrap, all I asked them to do was push it in, not drive it in.

Your stang looks awesome! I would love to go sportlines, but as I said in my first post I have had a lowrider before and once was enough! Too much to deal with on a daily driver for me. I have been to the oil change places with the lips in my previous car. The dealership I use now uses the ramps and not the pits though. I just want to be able to fit up on the ramp.

Nope you'll be fine. I have that exact same suspension setup and I get my oil changed at both kaufmann and Ford. Depends on the time of day and what day it is.

You gona love the set up!

Mine is lowered with eibach Sportline spring and Bilsteins. I have yet to encounter any probrem(well... except speedbump).
I have never heard of loweriong car with oil change issue tho.
Although, i have to tell you, you may have top change your floor jack. Mine is one of these $19.95 deal from Walmart, and that was no longer useable(about 1/2" too high). I have to get one that is flatter

Why not just drive your car onto a set of 2x4's for extra ground clearance?Much cheaper than a low profile floor jack!
