Yeah, not sure if he went big block. That was the rumors I heard, but that still aint bad. Also heard NMRA is looking to go back to the 105mm for Pro 5.0 since the Big block IHRA cars are killing the field

yes, this was with the 604cid big block and twin 91's on M/T 10.5W's at ~3060lbs.

DAMN!! Whats the desire of a big block? 6's have been done on small blocks??
Are big blocks stronger internal, or do you not have to turn them as hard??? Seems to be a new trend I dont understand??

they did that pass on low to mid 20's on boost where they were running in the
30's lbs with the small block. I think they were starting to break the small block more then they wanted.

um...they were running boost in the mid 40's with the small block

but yea they went to the big block for durability mostly
