After filling all those darn hole for the molding studs and fixing a very rappy and warped rear valance I finally got the stripes painted on using my new Finishline III Gun (worked out great! tons better that the Harbor Frieght model). I also used the Devilbiss liners, and man those things are great! I cleaned up my gun like new in under 3 minutes.
I'll get better pictures tommarrow along with a write-up in the future!

(you can see the liner, ziplock bage, poking out of the top)

The Finished Product

What do you think?

looks good i just painted my Mach... but... still no stripes. How hard was it to get them painted? I was going to resort to a stripe kit and stick them on

The side hockey stripes are decals from www.graphic-express.com and are great (my write-up http://www.desertmustangs.com/1972coupe/SideStripes/SideStripes.htm )

The lower stripes are painted on and hva a 3/4" vinyl strip over the leading edge, then a body color gap, then 1/4" vinyl tape stripe above the main stripes. As for painting them on it's easy. It's the prep work that takes time!
