I tried to eject the 3 CD's in my unit and got "CD Error". None of the CD functions will do anything except give me this error. Anyone had this happen or know how to fix? Thanks Oh, it's a 02 GT. 6 disc changer
Is the cd door stuck in the open position? Will the door open at all? Can you see inside it? Have you tried disconnecting the battery for a few minutes then trying again?
more than likely you will need a new head unit....i could be wrong tho... but i worked at a ford dealer for a while and when cars would get that message we always needed to order a new unit
Its happened to mine before.. You don't need a new head unit. One of the CD's is stuck. When mine happened I could see one of the CD's I took a pen and loosened up the CD it popped out and the rest came out with out a problem
