I've got a 1996 Gt Vert, and I am wanting to take out the stock ford speakers and put in better ones, but I dont know the sizes I have. Does anyone know the sizes of all the speakers in my car? Have a diagram or anything?

Thanks,
Shane

he has a vert, so the speakers in the rear (not the rear deck, by the way) may be a different size. I don't have a vert so I wouldn't know

Fronts are 5x7/6x8 rears are 6.5 tweets are a 2.5 but you can make mounts for different kinds of tweets if the need be.

I just mounted some silk dome 1 inch tweeters in my doors. They are 4 Ohm Nominal and really efficient. I knocked them down with 8 Ohm non-inductive 10W audio power resistors to balance them into the mix. This really woke up the system from an audio definition perspective. The 2.5" combo mid/tweeters in the doors just didn't cut it for me. I have not changed out the backs yet, and I'm not sure if I will or not as I am happy with the tonality now.
