hello... finally I made it to the Car inspection we have to go every Year ...damm... the Pony passed perfectly ... got also perfect Gas readings and Lambda was at 1.03/1.04... ( same Engine with original A9L ECU 1.13/1.14 Lambda) thanks to megasquirt its possible to adjust perfectly .. using 4 Flowmaster cats ..223 universal series, I have all emission stuff deleted also EGR not connected.. just the Cats... so now back building for more performance ..new Stainless steel Exhaust will arrive this week ..

:(:(very frustrating..... still waiting for my new X-Pipe ..wich is stucked in Customs now for a week ... Mustang is sitting and waiting..and there are just 2 events left this year for legal 1/4 mile race ..tomorrow night and 17th... ...all ready and full Bottle of Nitrous installed... ..dammm ...

question ..went for a ride tonight and used some Nitrous and made some Datalogfiles ... took the laptop out of the Car and back in the house I wanted to open the Tuner studio to check... but now it says that the " 331Nitrous" file is corrupted and cant be opened ..??? why that ?? megalogviewer is ok and I can see the loged files etc ..this is the 2 time that happens ..is that my foult .. or why that??
 
a little update...decided to let go the Nitrous and rebuild the 2. 331 I have, for NA....Nitrous here in Costa Rica is a pain..costs me over 200$ to fill the 2 Bottles and I have to drive like 370 km to go and fill ...costs are too high..will also go back to Drag Radials MT ET Street SS ..so I can use just one set of Tires and dont have to change all the time..my new engine is almost ready, next week I get the pushrods and a ARP oil pump drive shaft, also the "cheap" chinese alu roller rockers will be changed for some CompCam SSteel..I m using an F cam with ported AluHeads ..I think it will make some good power ...

finally ready for Install aspirated 331 ... and it was a good desicion to change engine.. . my 331 nitrous Stroker ?? maybe 3000 miles on it and not abused!! never over reved or so ... worn out thrust Bearing!! terrible Crank walk ..why this happens?? Auto trans, 20/50 oil and mild build..

aspirated 331 is in and running ..need to drive to adjust the afr and some more tune ... but weather is bad .. ...here some pics of crank damage..very strange??? Scat Crank ..

I think I definitely made some important progress with my tuning skills with the megasquirt ..Man, that engine starts, idles and runs just great....no idle bounce not even when cold..revs up nice and makes a lot of torque.. right now I just running 26 total timing advance..will try to go higher step by step with the Pump Gas, but also using VP 109 gasoline..to findout where I can get to...hope my new ET Street Tires are good enough...

That's awesome to hear, what cam are you running?
Compression ratio ?
Heads?
I will give you an idea of a safe max advance on pump gas.

Edit: nm I found what I was looking for, if those are standard chamber heads you should be able to easily run up to 34* on 93 octane fuel if the compression ratio is below 10:1.
At 26 your below that of the stock ECU.
 
lot happened last view weeks.. after the Crank damage also the Diff went bad and burnt the clutches from LSD .. so it was time to install the Yukon DuraGrip Posi i had stored for almost 3 Years.. very nice item .. get grip now !! the ET Street SS tires work perfect... I didnt know that the diff was that bad ... but all fixed now and Pony runs great ... Spark plug looks great after two hard pulls.....NGK

more upgrades ...Contour Fans installed, Custom Overflow ..now I run a 14" pusher controlled by Water pump Controller, One of the contour fans is manual swiched low speed with Resistor and second fan is controlled by Dearal electric Fan controller ...all tested and working just great.. the second fan never runs..its just good with the 14" Pusher and the manual switched running on low speed ...keeps the 331cu cool ....
